Abstract
Bethriany1 , Bernadeta Trihandini2 , Theresia Ivana3 [email protected] INTISARI Latar belakang: Diabetes melitus ini salah satu penyakit yang menjadi masalah kesehatan yang utama pada masyarakat yang memiliki komplikasi jangka panjang dan pendek. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas diperlukan pentingnyapenerapan Self efficacy manajemen diri pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 melakukan aktivitas fisik, kontrol glikemik, pengaturan diet,pengobatan dan perawatan kaki diabetes melitus tipe 2. Tujuan penelitian: Untuk Mengetahui Self effficcay Manajemen Diri Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Te;uk Tiram Banjarmasin Tahun 2024. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 Instrument penelitian mengunakan kuesioner DMSES (The Diabetes Manajemen Self Efficacy Scale) dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik ( purposive sampling) analisa menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil: Hasil Penelitian yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Teluk Tiram Banjarmasin Tahun 2024, tingkat Self efficacy manajemen diri penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 mayoritas penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 memiliki Self efficacy sangat tinggi dalam manajemen diri. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil jawaban responden pada kuesioner yaitu responden yang memiliki Self efficacy sangat tinggi sebanyak 23 orang (77%) dan 7 responden (23%) yang masuk dalam kategori self efficacy manjemen diri tinggi. Based on the above problems, it is necessary to apply self-efficacy self-management in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to do physical activity, glycemic control, dietary management, medication and foot care for type 2 diabetes mellitus. Objective: To find out the self-effficcay of self-management of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the working area of Te;uk Tiram Banjarmasin Health Centre in 2024. Methods: The type of research used in this study was quantitative with the research design used descriptive with a sample size of 30 respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus The research instrument used the DMSES questionnaire (The Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale) and sampling using purposive sampling technique analysis using univariate analysis. Results: The results of research conducted at the Teluk Tiram Banjarmasin Health Centre in 2024, the level of self-management self-efficacy of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus the majority of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus have very high self-efficacy in self-management. This is evidenced from the results of respondents' answers to the questionnaire, namely respondents who have very high self-efficacy as many as 23 people (77%) and 7 respondents (23%) who are in the high self-management self-efficacy category. Conclusion: The majority of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Puskesmas Teluk Tiram Banjarmasin have very high self-efficacy.
