Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE SUPERVISOR REGARDING COMPLETENESS DOCUMENTATION NURSING CARE IN SUAKA INSAN HOSPITAL BANJARMASIN Pangarawahen Winney1 , Chrismilasari Andi Lucia2 , Maratning Anastasia3 [email protected] ABSTRACT Background: In Indonesia, the quality of nursing documentation is still low at 7%. The problem in private and government hospitals in Indonesia is that there are still many incomplete nursing documentation. To ensure good documentation, supervision plays a role in the process of supervising the implementation of activities to run according to the goals and standards that have been made. Supervision carried out by supervisors and heads of rooms is not optimal because it is only done once a month. Objectives: To determine the description of the supervisor's role regarding the completeness of nursing care documentation by nurses in the hospital. Method: Type of quantitative research. Data sampling using cluster sampling technique with descriptive design, the sample size was 30 nurses. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire which was categorized into five indicators of nursing care documentation. Result: The results showed that the role of supervisors in the good category was 25 (83.33%) and less 5 (16.67%) respondents. In the assessment with the highest score of 106, as many as 20 nurses stated that the supervisor always checked the nurses' notes regarding the subjective data and objective data of patients who had been assessed, while in the implementation with the lowest score of 84, as many as 13 nurses answered that the supervisor only sometimes supervised nurses when recording patient responses from nursing actions that had been taken. Conclusion: The role of supervisors regarding the completeness of nursing care documentation at Suaka Insan Banjarmasin Hospital was found to be mostly in the good category, namely 25 respondents (83.33%). Permasalahan di rumah sakit swasta maupun pemerintah di Indonesia adalah masih banyak dokumentasi keperawatan yang tidak lengkap. Untuk memastikan dokumentasi yang baik, supervisi berperan dalam proses pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan agar berjalan sesuai tujuan dan standar yang telah dibuat. Supervisi yang dilakukan oleh supervisor dan kepala ruangan belum optimal karena hanya dilakukan satu kali dalam kurun waktu sebulan. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui gambaran peran supervisor mengenai kelengkapan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan oleh perawat di rumah sakit. Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel data menggunakan teknik cluster sampling dengan rancangan deskriptif, jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 perawat. Instrumen untuk pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dikelompokkan dalam lima indikator dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menujukkan peran supervisor pada kategori baik sebanyak 25 (83,33%) dan kurang 5 (16,67%) responden. Pada pengkajian dengan skor tertinggi 106, sebanyak 20 perawat menyatakan bahwa supervisor selalu mengecek catatan perawat terkait data subjektif dan data objektif pasien yang sudah terkaji, sedangkan pada implementasi dengan skor terendah 84, sebanyak 13 perawat menjawab bahwa supervisor hanya kadang-kadang mengawasi perawat saat mencatat respon pasien dari tindakan keperawatan yang sudah dilakukan. Kesimpulan: Peran supervisor mengenai kelengkapan dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Suaka Insan Banjarmasin didapatkan hasil dengan kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 25 responden (83,33%).
