Abstract
OVERVIEW OF MOTHER'S AWARENESS OF IVA TEST EXAMINATION IN AN EFFORT TO PREVENT CERVICAL CANCER AT UPT PUSKESMAS TUMPUNG LAUNG YEAR 2023 1 Rahmawati Irna, 2 Martini Margaretha ,3 Dewi Kresna Selly Email : [email protected] ABSTRACT Background: Cervical cancer is the second killer of women in the world. Screening is very necessary as a preventive measure. Early detection of cervical cancer one of them is Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid. Objective: Describe your awareness about IVA test examination at UPT Puskesmas Tumpung Laung. Method: Quantitative with a descriptive design. Sampling purposive sampling with a total of 94 respondents. Instrument for data collection using awareness questionnaires. Analysis using univariate analysis. Results: The characteristics of respondents with high school education amounted to 42 people (44.68%), aged between 26-35 years amounted to 42 people (44.68%), had non-working employment status amounted to 63 people (67.02%), the length of marriage age of 6-10 years amounted to 27 people (28.72%), the number of children ≤ 2 amounted to 69 people (73.40%) and most had a level of bad awareness amounted to 52 respondents (55.32%). Conclusion: The level of maternal awareness about IVA Test examination in Efforts to Prevent cervical cancer at UPT Puskesmas Tumpung Laung in 2023 is mostly a bad category. Suggestion: You can make your own decisions and do an IVA Test.
