Abstract
GAMBARAN ACADEMIC BURNOUT SYNDROME (ABS) PADA MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN TINGKAT AKHIR DI SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU KESEHATAN SUAKA INSAN TAHUN 2024 Regita Anastasia1 , Safariah Anggraini2 , Maria Frani Ayu Andani Dias² INTISARI Latar belakang: Burnout pada bidang akademik atau Academic Burnout Syndrome (ABS) adalah masalah yang terus menerus menghantui Mahasiswa/I pendidikan ilmu keperawatan, terutama mereka yang berada pada semester akhir. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi academic burnout syndrome (abs) pada mahasiswa/i keperawatan tingkat akhir di STIKES suaka insan. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner School Burnout Inventory secara online kepada Mahasiswa/i tingkat akhir pendidikan ilmu keperawatan di STIKES Suaka Insan. Sebanyak 55 responden bersedia dan ikut berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan dipresentasikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil: Mayoritas responden yang menempuh pendidikan ilmu keperawatan dan duduk di tingkat akhir berada pada kelompok usia 17-25 tahun (98,18%) dan berjenis kelamin perempuan (78,2%). Sebanyak 10, 9% (6 responden) melaporkan tanda dan gejala Burnout tinggi, dan sebanyak 72.73% (40%) melaporkan Burnout sedang. Sisanya, melaporkan berada pada burnout ringan. Kesimpulan: Mayoritas mahasiswa/i tingkat akhir pendidikan ilmu keperawatan berada pada kategori burnout sedang. Tindakan promosi dan prevensi perlu dilakukan agar keadaan burnout tidak semakin memburuk dan berdampak dalam kesuksesan pendidikan ilmu keperawtaan mahasiswa/i tingkat akhir ini. Sedangkan bagi yang berada dalam kategori burnout tinggi, perawatan dan penanganan segera harus segera dilakukan untuk mencegah perburukan keadaan. Objectives: This study aims to identify academic burnout syndrome (ABS) in final�year nursing students at STIKES Suaka Insan. Method: This study is a quantitative descriptive research study with a cross�sectional design. It was conducted by distributing the School Burnout Inventory questionnaire online to final-year nursing education students at STIKES Suaka Insan. A total of 55 respondents were willing to participate in this study. The collected data was analyzed with descriptive statistics and presented in the form of frequency distribution tables. Results: Most respondents who studied nursing and sat in the final level were 17- 25 years old (98.18%) and female (78.2%). Six respondents (10.9%) reported signs and symptoms of high burnout, and as many as 72.73% (40%) reported moderate burnout. The rest reported mild burnout. Conclusion: Most students in the final year of nursing education experience moderate burnout. Promotional and preventive actions need to be taken so that the burnout situation does not worsen and impact the success of education for students at the final level. Meanwhile, for those in the category of high burnout, immediate treatment must be carried out to prevent the situation from worsening.
