Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE OF HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS ABOUT HYPERTENSION IN HAJAK VILLAGE, SIKUI HEALTH CENTER Rosiana SA¹, Maria Silvana Dhawo², Bernadeta Trihandini³ ABSTRACK Introduction: Hypertension is a chronic disease that is widely found in the community, including North Barito in Central Kalimantan where the prevalence of hypertension is increasing. Hajak Village, which is included in the working area of the Sikui Health Center, around 28% of its people experience hypertension and is the first disease suffered by many residents, one of the things that needs to be known is how the knowledge of residents related to hypertension. Purpose: Knowing the picture of knowledge of people with hypertension about hypertension in Hajak Village, Sikui Health Center in 2023 Methods: A type of descriptive quantitative research. Samples were taken by sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, with a sample of 90 people. The instrument used is a knowledge questionnaire. Results: The majority of respondents' knowledge figures in the Sufficient category were 44 people (48.8%). Conclusion: The majority of respondents' knowledge in this study requires special attention to health workers to improve education and culture that can still be modified to change lifestyles that can trigger hypertension. Keywords: Knowledge, Sufferers, Hypertension 1 The student of STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin 2 The lecturer of STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin 3 The lecturer of STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN PENDERITA HIPERTENSI TENTANG HIPERTENSI DI DESA HAJAK PUSKESMAS SIKUI Rosiana SA¹, Maria Silvana Dhawo ², Bernadeta Trihandini³ INTISARI Latar Belakang: Hipertensi merupakan penyakit kronis yang banyak ditemukan dimasyarakat tidak terkecuali Barito Utara di Kalimantan Tengah dimana prevalensi hipertensi meningkat. Desa Hajak yang termasuk ke dalam wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sikui sekitar 28% masyarakatnya mengalami hipertensi dan menjadi pertama penyakit yang banyak diderita warga, salah satu yang perlu diketahui adalah bagaimana pengetahuan warga terkait penyakit hipertensi. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan penderita hipertensi tentang hipertensi di Desa Hajak Puskesmas Sikui Tahun 2023 Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel diambil dengan Teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 90 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pengetahuan. Hasil Penelitian: Mayoritas gambaran pengetahuan responden pada kategori Cukup sebanyak 44 orang (48.8%). Kesimpulan: Pengetahuan responden yang mayoritas cukup pada penelitian ini memerlukan adanya perhatian yang khusus pada tenaga kesehatan untuk meningkatkan edukasi dan budaya yang masih bisa dimodifikasi untuk merubah gaya hidup yang dapat memicu hipertensi.
