Abstract
GAMBARAN MOTIVASI PERAWAT D-III DALAM MELANJUTKAN PENDIDIKAN SARJANA KEPERAWATAN DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH MUARA TEWEH TAHUN 2023 Linda Wijaya 1, Maria Silvana Dhawo 2, Selly Kresna Dewi 3 1,2,3Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Suaka Insan Banjarmasin, 70119, Indonesia Email : lindawijaya5553@gmail.com INTISARI Latar Belakang : Di Indonesia, sebagian besar perawat masih memiliki ijazah D-III. Di negara lain seperti Filipina, Singapura, Thailand, dan Australia, pendidikan dasar untuk menjadi perawat adalah sarjana keperawatan ditambah pendidikan profesi. Hasil wawancara acak dengan lima perawat D-III menunjukkan bahwa dua dari mereka mengalami kesulitan membagi waktu dan pekerjaan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan, serta biayanya, sementara tiga lainnya menyatakan bahwa mereka tertarik untuk melanjutkan pendidikan saat ini dan sedang menabung untuk biaya kuliah nanti. Belum pernah sebelumnya penelitian yang menggali keadaan gambaran motivasi perawat D-III dalam melanjutkan pendidikan sarjana keperawatan di RSUD Muara Teweh. Tujuan Penelitian : untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi perawat D-III dalam melanjutkan pendidikan sarjana keperawatan di RSUD Muara Teweh Tahun 2023. Metode : penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini variabel tunggal yaitu motivasi perawat dalam melanjutkan Pendidikan di RSUD Muara Teweh. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini perawat D-III Keperawatan sebanyak 40 orang, dengan Teknik Total Sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2022 - Juli 2023. Instrumen yang digunakan berbentuk kuesioner berupa skala Guttman untuk mengukur tingkat motivasi, dengan nilai uji valid 0,506 serta nilai Cronbach Alpa 0,898. Data dianalisis dengan Analisa Univariate dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil : didapatkan hasil gambaran motivasi perawat D-III di RSUD Muara Teweh memiliki motivasi sebanyak 21 orang (52,5%) dan Motivasi rendah 19 orang (47,5%) Kesimpulan : hasil menunjukkan bahwa Perawat D-III di RSUD Muara Teweh memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan. In other countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Australia, the basic education to become a nurse is a bachelor's degree in nursing plus professional education. The results of randomized interviews with five D-III nurses showed that two of them had difficulty dividing their time and work to continue their education, as well as the cost, while the other three stated that they were interested in continuing their education at this time and were saving for tuition fees later. There has never been a study that explored the situation of D-III nurses' motivation in continuing their undergraduate nursing education at Muara Teweh Regional Hospital. Research Objectives: to determine the description of the motivation of D-III nurses in continuing undergraduate nursing education at Muara Teweh Hospital in 2023. Methods: This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive design. The variable in this study is a single variable, namely the motivation of nurses in continuing education at Muara Teweh Hospital. The population and sample in this study were 40 D-III Nursing nurses, with Total Sampling Technique. This research was conducted in November 2022 - July 2023. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a Guttman scale to measure the level of motivation, with a valid test value of 0.506 and a Cronbach Alpa value of 0.898. Data were analyzed by Univariate Analysis and presented in the form of frequency distribution tables. Results: obtained the results of the description of the motivation of D-III nurses at Muara Teweh Hospital having motivation as many as 21 people (52.5%) and low motivation 19 people (47.5%). Conclusion: The results show that D-III nurses at Muara Teweh Hospital have high motivation to continue their education.
