Abstract
GAMBARAN KEPATUHAN HAND HYGIENE KELUARGA PASIEN DI RUANG RAWAT INAP ANAK UPTD RSUD PURUK CAHU Normalia Taruk Allo 1, Saripah Anggraini.2, Lanawati3. INTISARI Latar belakang : Keselamatan pasien (Patient Safety) merupakan prioritas dalam pelayanan kesehatan yang penuh risiko. Keluarga pasien penting untuk diberikan informasi dan edukasi mengenai pentingnya hand hygiene sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengurangi transmisi penularan antara keluarga ke pasien. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran kepatuhan hand hygiene keluarga pasien di ruang rawat inap anak UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu. Metode : Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah keluarga pasien di ruang rawat inap anak UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu sejumlah 86 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara observasi dengan instrumen lembar observasi kepatuhan hand hygiene. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan mendeskripsikan prosentase tingkat kepatuhan hand hygiene . Hasil: Karakteristik responden penelitian ini mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 76,7%, berusia 18-32 tahun sebanyak 47,7%, berpendidikan SMP sebanyak 41,9%, dan memiliki hubungan keluarga dengan pasien sebagai ibu sebanyak 76,7%. Adapun hasil analisis ditemukan mayoritas responden patuh melaksanakan hand hygiene di ruang rawat inap anak UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu, sementara yang tidak patuh sejumlah 30 orang (34,9%) . Kesimpulan : Mayoritas keluarga pasien di UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu tergolong patuh dalam melakukan hand hygiene pada momen sebelum melakukan prosedur bersih/steril, setelah bersentuhan dengan cairan tubuh pasien, setelah bersentuhan dengan pasien, dan setelah bersentuhan dengan lingkungan sekitar pasien. Background: Patient safety is a priority in full health services. It is important for the patient's family to provide information and education about the importance of hand hygiene as a way to reduce transmission of transmission between families to patients Objectives: to identify the description of patient family hand hygiene compliance in the pediatric inpatient room of the UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu Method: Quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research sample was the patient's family in the pediatric inpatient room of the UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu, a total of 86 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by observation with hand hygiene compliance observation sheet instruments. Data were analyzed quantitatively by describing the percentage level of hand hygiene compliance. Results: The characteristics of the respondents in this study were 76.7% female, 47.7% aged 18-32 years, 41.9% had junior high school education, and 76.7% had a family relationship with the patient as a mother. The results of the analysis found that the majority of respondents adhered to carrying out hand hygiene in the child inpatient room of the UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu, while 30 people (34.9%) did not comply. Conclusion: The majority of patient families at the UPTD RSUD Puruk Cahu are classified as obedient in carrying out hand hygiene at the moment before carrying out clean/sterile procedures, after coming into contact with the patient's body fluids, after touching the patient, and after coming into contact with the environment around the patient.
