Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN QUALITY OF SLEEP WITH BLOOD PRESSURE IN ELDERLY AT POSYANDU ELDERLY IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUSTU TAPEN RAYA DISTRICT MOUNT TIMANG YEAR 2023 Intan Permata Hati1, Septi Machelia Champaga Nursery2, Aulia Rachman3 1,2,3 Suaka Insan Health Collage Banjarmasin, 70119, Indonesia Email : intan.ph15@gmail.com ABSTRACT Background : Data obtained from the Kandui Health Center for the 2022 NCD report recaps elderly visits with hypertension in the last 3 months have increased every month. The results of Stupen 3 patients complained of sleep disorders with observation of increased blood pressure, as well as the results of interviews at the elderly posyandu on 15/09/2023 found that there were 13 elderly who had complaints of sleep disorders and 5 of them had increased blood pressure. Objective : To find out the relationship between sleep quality and blood pressure in the elderly at the Elderly Posyandu in the working area of Pustu Tapen Raya, Gunung Timang District, in 2023. Method : Type of quantitative research with descriptive design and cross sectional approach. The study population of 78 people and a sample of 35 elderly people used purposive sampling techniques based on inclusion criteria. Data collection using PSQI questionnaire and stethoscope along with spygmomanometer. Univariate data analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis with Spearman Rank test. Results : The results of the Spearman Rank test showed a value of p = 0.029 (p <0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between sleep quality and blood pressure in the elderly. The majority of respondents had poor sleep quality with a total of 33 respondents (94,3%) with grade I hypertension of 14 respondents (40%), grade II hypertension of 8 respondents (22,9%), and degree III hypertension of 5 respondents (14 ,3%). Conclusion : There is a significant relationship between sleep quality and blood pressure in the elderly at the elderly Posyandu in the working area of Pustu Tapen Raya Gunung Timang District in 2023, the relationship between the variables is moderate and has a positive correlation, meaning that the worse the quality of sleep, the higher the blood pressure. Hasil Stupen 3 pasien mengeluh gangguan tidur dengan observasi Tekanan darah meningkat, begitu pula pada hasil wawancara diposyandu lansia tanggal 15/09/2023 ditemukan ada 13 lansia yang memiliki keluhan gangguan tidur dan 5 diantaranya memiliki peningkatan tekanan darah. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan tekanan darah pada lansia di Posyandu Lansia Wilayah kerja Pustu Tapen Raya Kecamatan Gunung Timang Tahun 2023. Metode : Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian 78 orang dan sampel 35 orang lansia menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner PSQI dan alat stetoskop beserta spygmomanometer. Analisa data univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi dan analisa bivariat dengan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil : Hasil uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan nilai p = 0,029 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas tidur dengan tekanan darah pada lansia. Mayoritas responden memiliki kualitas tidur buruk dengan jumlah 33 responden (94,3%) dengan hipertensi derajat I sejumlah 14 responden (40%), hipertensi derajat II sejumlah 8 responden (22,9%), dan hipertensi derajat III sejumlah 5 responden (14,3%). Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas tidur dan tekanan darah pada lansia di posyandu lansia di wilayah kerja Pustu Tapen Raya Kecamatan Gunung Timang Tahun 2023, hubungan antara variabel adalah kategori cukup dan berkorelasi positif, artinya semakin buruk kualitas tidur maka tekanan darah akan semakin meningkat.
