Abstract

GAMBARAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERKONTRIBUSI TERHADAP KEJADIAN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE II DI RSUD MUARA TEWEH TAHUN 2023 Eka Wahyu Prasetya1, Chrisnawati2, Oktovin3 INTISARI Latarbelakang: Penyakit tidak menular seperti Diabates Melitus di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan kejadian tersebut semakin meningkat. Hal tersebut terjadi di Wilayah kerja RSUD Muara Teweh, dimana gaya hidup masyarakat merupakan salah faktor yang menyebabkan kejadian DM Tipe 2 dan masih banyak faktor lainnya. Tujuan : Menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kejadian Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di RSUD Muara Teweh Tahun 2023 Metode: Penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian secara deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Total Sampling dengan jumlah responden 69 orang. Instrument untuk pengambilan data menggunakan data demografi dan kuesioner . Hasil : Gambaran faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi dalam kejadian DM Tipe 2 adalah mayoritas responden memiliki riwayat keluarga sebanyak 38 orang (55.1%), BB Ideal sebanyak (47.8%), tidak merokok sebanyak 54 orang (78.3%), aktifitas fisik < 600 Met sebanyak 37 orang (53.6%), dan gambaran pola makan mayoritas kurang baik sebanyak 43 orang (62.3%) Kesimpulan : beberapa faktor memiliki kontribusi dalam kejadian DM Tipe 2 dimana banyak responden memiliki gaya hidup tidak sehat dan pola makan yang kurang baik, sehingga menjadi tugas tenaga kesehatan untuk memberikan promosi kesehatan terutama pentingnya menjaga gaya hidup dan pola makan bagi penderita DM Tipe 2. Many factors cause the occurrence to increase. This happened in the working area of Muara Teweh Hospital, where people's lifestyle is one of the factors that cause the incidence of Type 2 DM and many other factors. Purpose: Describe the factors that contribute to the incidence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at Muara Teweh Hospital in 2023 Method: This research is quantitative with a descriptive research design. Sampling using Total Sampling with 69 respondents. Instruments for data collection using demographic data and questionnaires. Results: The description of factors that contribute to the incidence of Type 2 DM is that the majority of respondents have a family history of 38 people (55.1%), Ideal BB (47.8%), not smoking as many as 54 people (78.3%), physical activity < 600 Met as many as 37 people (53.6%), and the diet picture of the majority is not good as many as 43 people (62.3%) Conclusion: several factors have contributed to the incidence of Type 2 DM where many respondents have unhealthy lifestyles and poor diets, so it is the duty of health workers to provide health promotion, especially the importance of maintaining lifestyle and diet for people with Type 2 DM.
